The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy – interesting narrative; a little disturbing sometimes.
The Lovely Bones by Alice Seabold – pretty simplistic story line, characters not very developed, still made me cry.
A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hossini – interesting mix of human struggle for survival and recent Afganistani history.
